The Waggon & Horses
This cosy 17th Century Inn, nestles opposite the historic church in the picturesque village setting of Steeple Morden, Cambridgeshire.
Under the management of Owners Alan and Sandra Lloyd, the Waggon and Horses is enjoying a new lease of life and happily boasts a friendly relaxed welcome, fine cask ales, and excellent food which is served daily in both the character dining room and lounge bar.
A variety of food is served. Specials boards run alongside a traditional bar menu and our ‘fantastic fresh fish and chips’is available weekly Wednesday-Saturday. On a Sunday we serve a choice of traditional roasts, (locally renowned to be ‘the Best Sunday Lunch Around!’) but remember to save some room for one of our scrummy homemade desserts. We also offer a range of homemade pizza’s that are available to eat-in or take-away so download your menu now!
The Waggon boasts a large garden to the rear with excellent children’s play facilities, and a pretty heated patio to the front. The surrounding countryside boasts many well posted walks, so whether you’re heading out for a day or planning a stay in our own camping and touring park, there’s definitely something for everyone at ‘The Waggon’!
